ELECTRONICS ENGINEER FOR AUTOMATION TECHNOLOGY

Electronics engineers for automation technology install, program and manage the commissioning of our coating systems. They also support our customers through training and by carrying out servicing and conversions on their systems around the world.

 

 

APPRENTICESHIP COMPONENTS

  • Internal training sessions, e.g. STEP 7 programming
  • Work on various projects, e.g. sausage cooker
  • Assisting with the installation and commissioning of Sprimag systems
  • Connections between departments (Construction, Service, Technical Drawing, Applications Center)

Apprenticeship start date: September of each year

Apprenticeship duration: 3.5 years (possible to shorten to 3 years)

Apprenticeship as a Dual System: This means you will undertake practical training in the workplace and learn the theory in the vocational school. During the first year, you will attend the GARP training center (GARP Bildungszentrum).

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent qualifications from a Hauptschule (high school) or Werkschule (vocational school) or good qualifications from a Realschule (high school for high-performing students) with good marks in technology, math and physics
  • An interest in and understanding of technology
  • Willingness to learn, open mind, commitment and ability to work in a team

INDUSTRIAL MECHANIC

Specializing in mechanical and systems engineering

Industrial mechanics are used in all areas of metal working and assembly. They are responsible for the setup, installation and commissioning of our coating systems on customers' premises in Kirchheim and around the world. Another area of application is the mechanical production of machine and application components.


APPRENTICESHIP COMPONENTS

  • Rotation through a range of different stations: During this process, components will be manufactured using turning, milling, drilling, welding and bending technology
  • Assembly of devices and assembly groups
  • Carrying out maintenance and servicing work on our state-of-the-art machinery

Apprenticeship start date: September of each year

Apprenticeship duration: 3.5 years (possible to shorten to 3 years)

Apprenticeship as a Dual System: This means you will undertake practical training in the workplace and learn the theory in the vocational school. During the first year, you will attend the GARP training center (GARP Bildungszentrum).

REQUIREMENTS

  • Good qualifications from a Hauptschule (high school), Realschule (high school for high-performing students) or Werkschule (vocational school) with good marks in technology, math and physics

INDUSTRIAL BUSINESS MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT

This three-year apprenticeship covers all key business management tasks undertaken in various areas of the company, such as Purchasing, Sales, HR, Marketing, Customer Service and Accounting. The broad range of knowledge that you acquire will enable you to work in practically any business department once you have completed the apprenticeship.

Apprenticeship duration: 3 years

Apprenticeship as a Dual System: This means you will undertake practical training in the workplace and learn the theory in the vocational school.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Good Realschule (high school for high-performing students) qualifications with good marks in math, German and English
  • Some experience using Word and Excel
  • Willingness to learn, commitment and ability to work in a team

    WAREHOUSE LOGISTICS SPECIALIST

    Warehouse logistics specialists oversee goods from the moment they enter the warehouse until they are dispatched. During the apprenticeship, not only will you learn about all the different areas of the warehouse from the ground up, such as goods receiving and the relevant checks, picking, storage and the performance of inventories, you will also get to learn about all the departments that are linked to the warehouse. You will be taught how to use the latest computer-based warehouse management systems.
