Robot Coating Technology still on stage - at Hannover Messe Sprimag presents a variety of application possibilities.

On the occasion of Hannover Messe Sprimag Spritzmaschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG presents at Surface Technology the new compact 6-axis coating robot Paint Mate 200iA of Fanuc. This model is the smallest one of the Fanuc product line and is presented for the first time in Europe at the Sprimag booth of Hannover Messe (hall 6, stand D11). With a focus to robot coating technology Sprimag presents a variety of application possibilities of realized projects. For several years a key competence of Sprimag is developing and manufacturing fully automated coating machines for coating brake discs. Beyond that Sprimag developed a new concept of a robot coating module coming up with the general trend of reduced batch sizes in industry. This new machine design captivates by compactness and is an ideal supplement to the already established Sprimag coating machines in the field of pallet coating. This coating module consists of a 6-axis robot integrated into a spray coating system which grants precise and high quality coating.This design is laid out for the use as manually loaded standalone version as well as by a Sprimag linked version. Thus an enhancement of customer’s product portfolio by flat as well as complex parts with an organic coating system is possible.
