Spray guns – a Sprimag speciality
In 1906 Otto Heinrich received a patent for the first spray gun. Just 19 years later he founded Sprimag in Leipzig. Today Sprimag continues to develop new spray guns to meet the requirements of newly developed processes and new markets.
Sprimag offers specially configured spray guns for most different applications and paints. These are divided into two different categories: The External Spray Gun for coating of surfaces and the Internal Spray Gun which is equipped with a lengthened nozzle to spray parts internally (e.g. tubes or cans).
All Sprimag Spray guns are made of solvent- and acid-resistant materials making them suitable for a wide variety of paints. The piston seals are manufactured from non-reactive PTFE and hence require no adjustment or replacement. When the spray gun is triggered the control piston shifts to allow atomizing air to reach the nozzle first before paint is permitted to flow. This ensures that from the very start the paint is properly atomized and the spray pattern is under control.
